Ladies' Netball

Vet Netball Club is a great place to make new friends in all year groups, maintain your fitness and stay active, and most importantly, relax and have fun!!

Our Club welcomes people of all abilities. Whether you have always loved netball or never played before, want to be on a team or just train for fun, you should definitely come along and try us out! We train twice a week on Mondays 7-8pm and Wednesdays 6-7pm at Wavertree Tennis centre and each team has one league match a week (don't worry we understand how busy academic and social schedules can get!).

We have had over 50 people try out for teams this year which is fantastic! And everyone who came to trials will be put into one of our 3 teams. These consist of: “Vets” and “All Stars” who play in the Liverpool Uni campus league, and the Sunday league team, who play in the local Merseyside League. We also have many recreational club members who aren’t part of a team and just come to netball training because they love it!

As well as the competitive league matches, there are additional friendly tournaments such as Vets vs Dentists vs Medics and the infamous Netball vs Rugby match played at the end of the year (that's right, the rugby lads challenge us to a game of netball!), which everyone at the club can get involved in. We also have plenty of Netball Socials throughout the year which are always great fun and certainly not to be missed!
