Mens RugbyHello! We are the vets rugby team, an inclusive club dedicated to creating a love for rugby among players of all abilities and experience levels.
We have players who represented academy and county at a younger age while others who only picked up a rugby ball for the first time in Freshers week so are a truly mixed ability group of lads. We train on Thursday nights and play in a local men’s league on a Saturday afternoon which allows for a welcome break to vet life. The games are physical and we are normally several years younger than our opponents which allows us to play an exciting expansive brand of running rugby! Socials are held weekly and are widely talked about in the vet community, leading to us having a large number of social members for those that are less rugby inclined.
