The University of Liverpool Veterinary Alumni Association (ULVAA) was set up in 1991 with the aim of maintaining relationships between graduates, former staff, and the School of Veterinary Science. We hope you will become familiar with the work that ULVAA does during your studies.
As an example of how we support the student experience, in the last few years ULVAA has donated funds to both social events and School of Veterinary Science student societies (including sport and pastoral societies) and had a presence at both the Vet’s Fresher’s Fair and Leahurst Careers Fair.
Stay Connected
Your involvement with the University won’t stop when you graduate. ULVAA have our own website, you can follow us on our Facebook and LinkedIn pages, and when you graduate you will be asked if you would like to receive alumni newsletters – both from the University as a whole and specifically from ULVAA. (If you are a graduate and are not receiving alumni newsletters, please e-mail alumni@liverpool.ac.uk to update your contact details). We also organise events aimed at bringing alumni together.
Upcoming events
ULVAA help to organise regular events for the alumni and student community, including our AGM, the annual Barrie Edwards Memorial Lecture, and the upcoming School of Veterinary Science 120th Anniversary Celebration Ball. For an up-to-date schedule and upcoming events, please visit the ULVAA homepage.
UVLAA Committee
Graduates from Liverpool Vet School make up the committee (elected to positions) as well as staff members from the School of Veterinary Science, student representatives and a representative from the Alumni Relations team to enable collaboration between all. To contact the committee, please email ulvaa@liverpool.ac.uk.
