About us:

We are the student sustainability society for the University of Liverpool, we offer an opportunity for vet students here to learn about sustainability within the profession and to take part in sustainable initiatives within the community.
Our previous events have included:

• Litterpicks - on campus, in residential areas and on local beaches. Do not worry if you have never done one before- most people haven’t either! All equipment is provided (including some really fetching hi-vis jackets).
• ‘Crafternoons’- with the wellbeing representative and peer supporters
• Plant workshops
• Evening talks- on a range of topics, such as: a sustainable veterinary industry, how we can be sustainable as individuals and nature friendly farming

Jenni’s role is to oversee the society, projects and support the committee members. They are the point of contact between the society, teaching staff and LUVS.

Alice’s role is to act as a ‘go between’ between LUVSS and the organisation VetSustain.
